From the Enchanted Islands

Many thanks for the news you sent to my e-mail address, and I also congratulate you for the service you are providing. I write editorials for a monthly newspaper, El Colono, which is circulated in the Galápagos, where I live. Your news helps me out with a radio program that I produce and which talks about global marine preserves. Congratulations.

Carbon Sequestration Project

We are conducting the largest carbon dioxide sequestration project, which represents fixation of 3.8 billion tons over 25 years. The first phase of the project was already completed over 8,000 hectares.
It appears you are not aware of this project, known as the Rebirth of the Tropical rainforest of the Colombian Orinoco (or Gaviotas II). If you would like more information, we would be happy to provide it.

Interest in Report

You published a story titled ''MERCOSUR-EU: Environmentalists Against Trade Accord''. I am writing to request more information about the organizations that produced the report mentioned. We would like to know which organizations were involved so we can contact them, because our work is related to those issues.

Water Management

Environmental Engineering Study - I am working in a sugar mill in the Valle del Cauca, Colombia, and I am very interested in receiving information about water management in South America and the world.
To know what awaits us if we don't stop our polluting, if we are so cruel when it comes to engaging in activities that cause harm to our environment.
Many thanks, and I hope to receive information and to be a multiplier in the community to change habits in order to protect our environment.
